At Mason James Hair in Oakhill Village, Castle Hill, we work with men’s hair in all its forms, from short cuts and longer styles to curly hair, colour and bigger changes in direction. We’ll look at how your hair naturally grows, how you wear it day to day and how much styling you actually want to do, then shape the service around that.

If you’re not sure what to book, complimentary consultations are available. We can also recommend the right products and show you how to style and care for your hair at home, so the result still works once you leave the salon.

What’s the difference between a men’s hairdresser and a barber?

There’s plenty of crossover, but the right choice usually comes down to the haircut you want.

Barbers often specialise in shorter clipper work, fades and traditional barbering. A men’s hairdresser can be a better fit for longer styles, scissor cutting, texture, shape changes or simply having more time to consider how the cut will sit, move and grow.
